This is Jill Henneberg, on her mare Nirvana. She is an off-track TB that Jill obtained as a 12 year old beginning rider, and took all the way up to the Olympic Games, Atlanta 1996, where she received a silver medal with teammates Karen and David O’Connor and Bruce Davidson. Dreams do come true! Her first horse all the way to the top.
Jill still has Nirvana, now long retired, and Jill recently has had a change in her life and is available to teach and clinic in the Mid Atlantic area. We are pleased to be able to announce a special cross-country clinic Sunday afternoon, July 7, 2013, at Olde Hope Farms, in Earleville, MD. The clinic is extremely affordable, please do sign up my emailing me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am about 2/3-full and we will not accept more than a certain limit, so please let me know if you are interested right away.
Few people know this but Nirvana and Jill actually started their eventing career at Olde Hope Farms, just like the hundreds of other lower level eventers that compete there year after year. Jane has a hundred jumps over her 200-acre-plus farm, and the footing is never bad — all old-growth grassland that is not plowed or worked up, just mowed. This makes jumping an absolute dream for the horses, no rocks or hard ground to land on, very comfortable and confidence-producing for green and young horses.
Why not spend an afternoon up Cherry Grove Road with just your horse, and Olympic Medalist in your sport, and a few others who love to ride and jump, too? Make a memory and join us! (email@example.com)
